Hey everyone! Today is Trans Day of Visibility!!! One way we can be a better ally to Trans+ people is through the language that we use. Gendered language is something that is ingrained in our vocabulary and is used regularly in our day-to-day interactions. How can we practise being more inclusive? Check out the latest piece on the website and let us know what you think! www.lgbthero.org.uk/gender-inclusive-languageI'd love to know your thoughts! - Have you experienced someone misgendering you, then profusely apologise, making the whole situation way more uncomfortable than necessary? - What do you think about the term ‘womxn’? Is there a need for it or does women already include Trans women? - Do you have some more examples of gendered language? - Have you got some fun, inclusive ways to greet people? - What gender-inclusive terms of endearment can you think of? With kindness, River
