Help,advice whatever needed please :-)

Hey guys I'm new to this hope all are well, I need some help and advice please I'd really appreciate it thanks. Here goes- I'm a sub lad and my boyfriend the dom top said what would make me even more of a sub bottom lad and make him feel even more in control of me and my body would be if he was to lock me into ankle cuffs. The thing is I have never been in them before so I am unsure and I am wondering how tight do they go? Do they hurt? Do they still hurt once you are freed? Do they cause any permanent damage? etc,any help and advice etc from guys experienced from being put in ankle cuffs would be massively appreciated. Thanks in advance! :-) my boyfriend has ordered some expected to be delivered this week so it would be my first time wearing them this week.
