Hello,
First of all thank you to anyone who will take their time to read this and actually try to help me out. So I came out as Bisexual when I was 15 and It was all good until now that I realised that I can't seem to catch actuall feelings for anyone. When I was 15 I had my first ever boyfriend we dated for 3 months until we broke up the first months was okay I did feel happy when I was around him I got butterflies in my stomach when he kissed me but now that I think of that time after that months I didn't seem to enjoy all the affection he was giving me (kissing) and now that I look through my whole "crush" list I realise that I didn't actually like them I just liked the idea of them. Could you please help me out in understanding better if I may be asexual/aromantic or not.

Hi Ana123, Welcome to the OutLife Forums and thank you for sharing your situation. You know, sexuality is a very individual thing and different people have a huge range of experiences regarding feelings for other people sexually or romantically. People have different libidos (sexual appetites) and these can vary over time with the same individual. Sometimes mental health issues play a part in libido. The long and short of it is that the human being is a very complex organism and rarely stays the same all the time. You are who you are, whatever that is. You may fit a sexuality label or you may not. Just in case you haven't seen this before may be you would like to look through the OutLife's A-Z of Sexuality. You don't say how much older than 15 you are but assuming not a lot older, you still have a lot of time to explore your feelings for other people and time will tell you when you are settled into a pattern that fits a label you are happy with. Some people are very happy not to have a label, even. It really is up to you and whether or not you tell people is only your business, you shouldn't feel pressured by anyone. www.outlife.org.uk/a-z-of-sexual-orientationAlso, you may find it helpful to read about coming out. www.outlife.org.uk/how-to-come-out The Stonewall website also has a similar advice page. Hope this is of some help to you! Let us know how you get on. All the best. Simon.
