I've been getting through a lot of media (esp during this whole lockdown thing), and indulging in many LGBTQ+ films, songs, to shows etc. I enjoyed Pose and Drag Race, and discovered music by King Princess and Trixie Mattel. What at have you been watching? *if photos aren't allowed, please mods just let me know and I'll remove it*

I've also been watching a lot of LGBT YouTube. Far too many channels to name them all, but a couple of interesting (and completely different!) ones are Novympia and Contrapoints. What channels do you like?

There are definitely a lot of really good films and videos around these days, Pygmalion. I also very much enjoyed Pose. Great for leaning about LBGTQ+ history in NY there. Not really spent much time on Drag Race yet.
I found films like 'My Name is Michael' very interesting although really it was a sad ending in my view. However, it was his life to lead how he wanted. Loved Call Me by Your Name - watched that twice! God's Own Country I also loved.
The series Tales of the City was good, and I loved Eastsiders!

Yeah, Pose was very informative as well as entertaining. And thanks for naming some films for me to check out - though I can only handle so much sadness (Pose was hard enough!).

Yeah, many have a sad component, unfortunately.
It’s a while since I saw Tales from the City but I think it kinda ends up good. As does Eastsiders.

Sorry, got one title wrong. It’s’ I Am Michael’.
If you want a bit of a laugh, ‘Ideal Home’ tickled me.

Hi Pygmalion, I also love Contrapoints! Always look forward to her videos and although I'm not sure I always agree with her arguments, they're always thought provoking and more often than not she's on the money. Welcome to the forums All are welcome here.
