Hi all,
I've been questioning my sexuality for years...I'm in my early 40s...very new here. First post. I think I'm bisexual. Maybe I always have been. Reading books about it, etc. - being a teacher and nerdy. Sort of freaking out a bit because I don't have anyone I can talk to about this. Thank you for reading!

Hey K555007, Thanks for your post, and welcome! It can be quite a lot to deal with when you're questioning your sexuality, but it's great to hear that you're reading up and trying to get informed. I remember when I was processing my sexuality, it really helped to be able to talk to other people. Not the easiest thing in lockdown but that's we're here for. If you'd like to talk to another LGBTQ+ person then I'd recommend calling Switchboard. It's an LGBTQ+ helpline and they're staffed by trained volunteers from the across the spectrum. You can call them on 0300 330 0630 from 10am - 10pm. There are also a bunch of bi social groups where you might be able to talk to other people who feel like you. The Biscuit has a great list of them here: www.thisisbiscuit.co.uk/5175-2/. Though they're probably not meeting up face to face, many will be running online groups. I know it must be difficult going through this alone, but there is support out there and I'd encourage you to reach out. I hope you find them above somewhat useful. Please do feel free to post again if you'd like more information, or just to let us know how you're getting along. Justin
