Hi. I was diagnosed with a brain tumour cancer coming up to 5 years ago. I have had it removed however had complications so have difficulties with mobility etc. I was wondering if anyone else is in a similar position?
Before I was ill I would go to saunas, cruising, clubs and meets etc to meet people :-). I have lost my confidence and don't know how to meet people now. With my disability I can't climb stairs and most places are not accessable. It would be good to talk to other guys in the same situation.

Hi Micky123.
I'm so sorry to hear that. The last 5 years must have been very difficult. I'm happy to hear that the removal was successful but not great to hear you've had some difficulties since.
I can imagine the complications have had a negative affect to meet people. The gay scene is not set up to support people like you. They need to do better.
I don't really have any life experiences that could help you. I hope anyone reading this conversation who do can chip in. Have you tried reaching out to the cancer charities who have LGBT groups? If not let us know and we can do some research for you. We might be able to point you in the right direction.
