Goodday My name is Merlyn am 20 years old and have been wanting to be a girl for years now, although still having a mans body. I'm currently going to college and live with my parents to cut the costs, at the moment it looks like my parents view on being transexual isn't too bright, thus I haven't come out to my parents yet, luckily though my mentor at college has assigned me one of the therapists that work at college to vent about things and talk to.
I was planning on not coming out till I finish college, although I am starting to have my doubts on whether I can wait till then, since I'm extremely eager to start working on physically becoming female as early as possible. Although wanting to come out I get extremely anxious whenever I even think about it, so my therapist suggested to see whether I can give myself some smaller steps towards my goal.
So I was wondering whether I could get any stories from other members of lgbtq+ to know how it went for them.

In the meantime I know lots look at these threads. I hope some who have similar experiences can chip in.
