Hello. I am grateful that you have opened this thread, because I need your help. I'm not a native english speaker, so I apologize for the mistakes.
Biologically, I am a 14 y.o. woman and I am completely fine with my body and everything. In addition, I identify myself as tomboy, possibly a genderfluid one.
A couple of days ago, I started texting one boy in an application that is a kind of analogue of the pre-growth tinder in my country. Everything was nice and easy until he offered to exchange photos. (No sexual harrasment, just a photo of the face, my physical appearance). He sent a photo (he looks about 12-13 years old), and so did I.
I wish I didn't do this and closed this application forever. After I sent the photo, he started saying that I was not female and was deceiving him. I explained to him that he was actually mistaken and I just wanted to have a normal conversation.
For some reason, he inserted my photo into the image search and tried to check if I was fake. (Yes, he took a screenshot of the search results and signed it "Okay, even Google says you're a girl"). What the?
One day later, he seemed to forget about everything and invited me to play an online game. It was fun, but it turned out he still thought I was a guy. (Unfortunately, I was ill in those days, but I tried my best not to make my voice rough and it even seemed like working.). After an hour or two he said "I'm 75 percent sure you're not a guy".
It kinda hurted me... Every time he couldn't just accept my gender... Yes, I'm not as feminine as I could be, but this is what makes me "me"...
If the "fun" ended with constant attempts to figure me out, I probably wouldn't have written this post. I was finally finished off by the fact that a couple of days later I saw the profile of the same guy with his text and MY photo.
Now I'm completely confused. I don't care if any of my friends can see it: we will laugh at this together at most, but I absolutely do not understand why he did it at all. Did he find my appearance attractive? Or is it just cheap banter?
I know that I should not pay attention to this and he will still remove this photo later, but it somehow hurts me that he doesn't trust me for no reason and used me like this.
