Hi Everyone I wanted to go back to yoga. I live in a tiny village, and was convinced the only people who would go to yoga held at our village hall would be middle aged white ladies who would stare at me (I'm young-ish, fat and hairy). London runs LGBT yoga, but thats an hour away, and £10 a trip. I went to the village hall and was right about the demographic but they didn't stare at me, they didn't care , not much talking happened, and the instructor was great. So I mention finding a yoga class where my partner lives (a small village), she's trans femme, and unsure about small village yoga. This got me thinking, what was the last new skill you learned? Being queer can sometimes hold you back but I've found it can sometimes help me find my people to practise my skill with. I will probably attend yoga online for now, but thats more to save money. I really like THIS channel. The last new skill I learnt ... how to use adobe express I love it!

I'm actually quite proud of myself. For the past three years I've been teaching myself 3D animation and motion graphics. It's been a long and arduous journey but I'm finally getting good and the feeling of achievement has been a real boost to my self esteem.
Like a lot of queer people I've got pretty low self esteem most of the time which tends to interfere with personal projects, so managing to overcome that has been pretty awesome.

I'm currently back in education and working, so I'm trying to dedicate my 'free' time to doing things that help me to relax - one of which has been re-learning how to cross stitch! I think almost everyone I know who does crafty things is queer, haha - so it has also given me a chance to reconnect with some friends I haven't seen in a while, which has been much more needed than I thought!

Guys, you are great fellows for doing cool and useful things! Several years ago I was involved in a research project, part of which required a trip to another country. We needed to make a 3d plan of the area (it was a beautiful mountainous area) so that in the future it would be easier for us to use this plan. We decided that we would do it with a drone, and they let me fly it. It was amazing! I even managed not to lose it Now I'm thinking all the time about how to start filming with a drone myself, but I have big problems with video editing. I hope I have enough motivation to learn it!

There's a yoga class at my local church hall and I've been attending regulary for a few months now and although it's been going for years it's recently through my sister-in-law, who's also been going for years, that I've shown an interest. Also, that idea that it's just middle-aged women who go isn't right. We've got a few men come occasionally and from what I've learnt about 24% are actually men of various ages.
