Hey and thanks for your post and welcome to LGBT HERO Forums. I know some closeted Sikhs. I used to be closeted myself because I was afraid of being excluded from my family, culture and religion which impacted my mental health and wellbeing. Thankfully I had a fairly accepting family but they found my sexuality difficult to understand. They thought it was some choice I was making and then realised it is who I am. >> www.lgbthero.org.uk/coming-out Have you heard of Sarbats LGBT - a really great organisation for Sikh LGBTQ+ people. There is also Gay Indian Network - they have various WhatsApp groups too. Have a look at this link >> www.lgbthero.org.uk/sa-directory (this list most of the South Asian LGBTQ+ social and support / orginisations in the UK. Places like Birmingham LGBT in Birmingham also offer 121 support too and they have a dedicated South Asian/Middle Easter LGBTQ+ worker there. Also have a look at this help >> www.lgbthero.org.uk/find-supportI hope this helps you and do stay in touch and let us know if you need any other info. Just remember you are not alone and there is support out there. Eventually we get to have chosen family as well. You are enough and you will find your way. Best wishes
