Firstly, happy new years to you all and wishing you a healthy, happy and successful 2024. This week I am interested in what the New Year means to you. What do we want to do more of or less of? How do we renew ourselves? What is the importance of goals and goal setting? Are these realistic? What are you most looking forwards to? I know my plans are to do the following: Read every day (I am thinking more biographies this year) Drink more water Sleep better Eat more healthier (accept on Saturdays where I will treat myself) Certainly more exercise (starting off with daily walking - may aim for Jan is 5000 steps a day) Continue being creative (by this I mean drawing, making art, writing and filmmaking) More Theatre More Cinema Phoning friends and family more often rather than just messaging Challenging any forms of discrimination and hate - as safe as I can Less alcohol and late nights out and substitute this for theatre, cinema, days out and treats for myself Spend more sensibly Have fun Set some realistic goals for my creative career Best wishes for 2024 findout.lgbthero.org.uk/www.lgbthero.org.uk/Pages/Events/www.lgbthero.org.uk/find-supportwww.lgbthero.org.uk/Pages/Category/helplgbtq
