Oh Debbie hearing that you're doing well is so wonderful to hear. You owe us nothing! We're just happy that you're thriving and you found this place when you needed it. Such great news! Well, I've got to be honest I'm ambivalent about the spider but hey, all animals need a good home, right?
You're always welcome here. xx

Hey Debbie. I haven't been here in a while. I'm wondering how you are getting on. I followed your story closely.

Hi I’m Alexei and I’m new here. The last year I discover that I’m bisexual. My parents and my friends are homophobes, though. So I can’t talk to anyone because I don’t think that they can accept me. I feel like I’m drowning and I don’t know what to do. I hope that someone has some advice. Thanks

Alexel. So sorry to hear this. Being bisexual is beautiful and you need to celebrate discovering being you. Those homophobes and biphobes need to get in the sea. Putting your self worth in other people allows them to have the power. If you take that back and realise you are amazing it will help you shine.
Can you tell us more about your journey so far? x

Hey Debbie. I haven't been here in a while. I'm wondering how you are getting on. I followed your story closely. Amazing. I now volunteer for a LGBT charity in Glasgow supporting people like me. Posting this really changed my life. I can't believe how far I've come. Thank you lgbthero for this and to Justin for your advice at the start. I ♥️ you all at this amazing charity.

PS... sorry for the slow reply. I lost access to my email and only got it back recently so I didn't get any notifications.

Putting your self worth in other people allows them to have the power. If you take that back and realise you are amazing it will help you shine. Can you tell us more about your journey so far? x So when I was 11 I started to be attracted to men. That was really weird for me because I live in a small town and back then there weren’t any lgbtq+ people. So I started searching about that and I discovered a whole new world. Almost three years ago, this attraction was increasing and for a year I thought I might be gay but then I fell in love with a girl. That’s when I found out that I am bi. But I was struggling with that because I couldn’t accept myself. So I tried to speak to a friend but I couldn’t talk to her openly while I haven’t accepted who I was and I didn’t continued with the conversation. Later when I finally had come to terms with who I am I tried to talk to her again but I was afraid that I would ruin our friendship and I didn’t tell her anything again. I don’t like this situation, being secretly bisexual, but I have to say that discover and accept myself is one of the best thing that ever happened to me because now I feel more like me and not what other people want me to be.
